    Strategy course addresses contemporary challenges in international business and covers such as internationalization strategies, International New Ventures, operation modes of multinational companies, emerging market multinationals, geopolitics, and micro and macro risk analysis.

  • MBA Project / Thesis supervision
    2016 - current
    Students either a) conduct an in-depth study and develop a business plan for a new venture, or b) collaborate with a company and write a literature informed thesis on a real and relevant business challenge with managerial recommendations.

  • Masters in Sustainability Leadership
    2024 (at Technical University of Denmark)

    Course challenges leaders to make sustainability data an integral driver of the organization and enabler of ”positive ESG”. The discussions address managerial challenges associated with transforming organizational decision-making and developing business analytics for sustainability.

  • Business Ethics and Sustainability
    2017 - current
    Coordinator of six section Ethics and Sustainability course for mid-career part-time executive students. Course deliverables include the development of a business plan for a sustainable company or a corporate entrepreneurship initiative to improve sustainability.

  • From Analytics to Action                                   
    2024 - present (at Technical University of Denmark)  

    Course prepares students for the challenges of implanting data analytics projects in
    companies. Students work with a company to derive to a research model, define the
    business value of analytics projects and discussing data quality issues. The project
    based learning also covers data analytics process models, technological challenges,  
    stakeholder analysis, data analytics strategy as well as ethical concerns.

    Coordinator and lead instructor in the large final (third) year Bachelor’s course focusing on the management of a company’s International strategy and operations. Industry/guest speakers have included Export Credit Agencies, sustainable startup entrepreneurs, banking executives, international HR scholars, and digitization experts.

  • Strategy for Creative Industries - Executive Masterclass on business strategy for creative industry entrepreneurs

  • Strategic Foresight – Executive Masterclass in scenario building and planning (forthcoming in 2024)

  • Telecoms sector – three-day program on strategy, corporate entrepreneurship, spinouts, and new venture development for global multinational’s employees without a business background.

  • Public sector – adapted business thinking and strategy tools for public administration innovation. Audience included top leadership from all Finnish government ministries.

  • Ownership strategy development for 90+ year old family company undergoing generational succession and business realignment around sustainability objectives.
